There is no good way or time
Dear Ginny and family-
Dear Ginny and family-
I was so very sorry to learn of the loss to this world of your beloved husband and my respected sensei. I am fortunate, and very much a better man, to have known him; I know many others feel the same. I was also fortunate to have had the opportunity to express my gratitude to him for the graciousness with which he greeted me when I returned to aikido a couple of decades ago through NE Aikikai after a considerable hiatus. He was a true American samurai who could be a stern, focused master on the mat (my right wrist will never be the same!) yet he had a great laugh and a heart of gold.
I hope knowing that he was so very well loved and respected by his students may in some way lessen your loss.
Sincerely,
Kerry Moore

I cannot tell you how sad this news was for me. Lou introduced me to Aikido and in many ways changed the person I am today. He will be missed by not only those that knew him, but the friends he had yet to meet. Rest in peace.
