Mr. Daniel Sylvester Enwright of Westford, MA died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Lahey Medical Center.

He was married to Mrs. Patricia A. (Veinott) Enwright with whom he would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this year.

Daniel was born in Malden, MA on August 10, 1936, the son of the late John and Doris (Kingston) Enwright. He was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School with the class of 1954.

He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

Daniel owned and operated D. Enwright & Sons of Westford, MA as a contractor; working on many projects among them the Delta Airlines Terminal at Logan Airport in Boston, MA. He retired in October, 2001.

He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of N. Chelmsford, MA.

Daniel enjoyed Foxwoods, puzzles, and traveling with his beloved wife, Patricia, but most of all he loved spending time with his cherished grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by three daughters, Kim and Kerry Enwright, and Patricia and her husband John Gulliver all of Westford, MA, three sons Daniel Enwright of Westford, MA, Mark and his wife Donna Enwright of Groton, MA, and Christopher and his wife Deborah Enwright of Lowell, MA, five sisters, Delia Strobel of Andover, MA, Evelyn and her husband Reed Haley of Sebago, ME, Doris and her husband Roy Smith of Melrose, MA, Nora and her husband, John Ryan of Malden, MA, and Helen Smith of Lowell, MA, a brother-in-law and his wife, John and Rose Veinott of Dover, NH, four sister-in-laws, Kathleen French of Malden, MA, Marilyn, Gladys and Shelia Enwright, and eight grandchildren, Shelley Zimmerman, Mark Jr., Robert, Daniel, Joseph, and Nicholas Enwright, and Anthony and Kristiana Gulliver. Daniel is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as several close friends.

He was the God father of the late Noreen O’Brien of Melrose, MA who died March, 2011, and the brother-in-law, to the late John French of Malden who died December, 2010.


Enwright, Daniel Sylvester Enwright of Westford, MA died August 27, 2011. Visiting hours Wed. 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Thurs. at 8 a.m. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford, MA.
