Margaret T.
(Higgins) Lawrence of Lowell, MA died Wednesday morning, April 8, 2009
at Life Care Center in Billerica, MA after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Lawrence who died July 29, 2003.
Born in Lowell, MA on Feb. 24, 1930, the daughter of the late Daniel E.
and Margaret T. (McCarthy) Higgins. A life long resident of
Lowell, she graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1947.
She was employed with the New England Telephone Company as an operator
in her earlier years.
She was a communicant of St. Margaret's of Lowell, MA, where she was a
member of the St. Margaret's Woman's Sodality.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, Joseph and Darlene
(Snay) Lawrence of Merrimack, NH, Richard J. and Mary (McMahon)
Lawrence of Lowell, and John F. and Joan (Shmishkiss) Lawrence of
Methuen, a daughter and her husband, Trisha A. and Paul Bergeron of
Methuen; a brother in-law, Daniel Fusconi of Hudson, NH; ten
grandchildren, Derek Lawrence of Lowell, Joseph Lawrence of Wyoming,
Jennifer and Scott Ladue and Jason Lawrence all of Merrimack, NH,
Trevor and Bryan Lawrence and Stephanie, Andrea, Emily and Nicole
Bergeron all of Methuen, and four great-grandchildren, Alexa and Max
Ladue of Merrimack, NH, and Jundee and Joseph and his wife Naneth
Lawrence of Wyoming.
She was the mother of the late Margaret Mary Lawrence of Lowell who
died in 1962. Margaret was the sister of the late James
Higgins, Mary Fusconi, and the late Daniel Higgins.

2009. No Visiting Hours. Funeral Fri. at 11:30AM in the DOLAN FUNERAL
HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in St. Patrick's
Cemetery, Lowell. Memorials may be made in her memory to Merrimack
Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843.
