Mr. Paul L.
Montgomery, 80 of Dracut, MA died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Lowell
General Hospital unexpectedly.
He was married to the late Mrs. Mary R. (McLellan) Montgomery who died
August 2, 1995.
Born in Lowell, MA on May 16, 1928, the son of the late Herbert E. and
Laura (McKinley) Montgomery. He was a graduate of Lowell High
School with the class of 1946, and later attended College.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and had a 36-year
career with the US Marines.
He retired in 1995 from Malden Mills in Lawrence, MA, and from
A&L Taxi of Lowell, MA.
He was a member of St. Marie’s Card Club of S. Lowell, MA and the
Dracut Senior Citizens, where he loved to play cards with both
groups. Paul was an avid reader who also loved baseball.
He is survived by a sister Maryann, his close friend, Helen Jean of
Dracut, MA, and friends, Donald and Barbara Kendall of Barnsted, NH

NOTICE
MONTGOMERY, Mr. Paul L. Montgomery, 80 of Dracut, MA died Tuesday,
April 7, 2009. No Visiting hours, and private funeral services were
held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Bourne National
