Mr. Arthur A. Andricopoulos of Old Orchard Beach, ME,
formerly of Lowell, MA, died surrounded by family, after
a long illness.Born
in Lowell, MA, on Sept. 19, 1941, the son of Mrs.
Vasilike (Serfes) Andricopoulos of Lowell, MA, and the
late Andrew G. Andricopoulos. He was a graduate of
Lowell High School with the class of 1959, and Columbian
Pre. School in Washington, DC, and received his
Bachelors of Education from the University of Miami.
He was
a teacher for over 39 years with the Lowell School
Department, retiring in 2003.
He was
a communicant of Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church
of Lowell, MA.
He
held membership with the Mass. Teachers Association.
During
the time of his illness, Arthur said he received the
most comfort from all his friends who cared, by calling,
visiting, and sending cards.
Besides his mother he is survived by a Daughter Andrea
M. and her husband Ronald Boudreau of Greeneville, TN,
two sons Christopher Andricopoulos of Kihei, Maui, HI,
and Anthony Andricopoulos of Dracut, MA, a brother
Andrew “Perry” and his wife Geraldine (O’Brien)
Andricopoulos of Chelmsford, MA, and six grandchildren
Megan and Ashley Andrukonis, and Brittany, and Heather
Boudreau all of Greeneville, TN, Tiffany, and Kiley,
Andricopoulos of Kihei, Maui, HI, a nephew Andrew
Andricopoulos, and two nieces Christine DeFranco, and
Alyssa Andricopoulos, his former wife Catherine (Koutrobis)(Andricopoulos)
DeFabio of Dracut, MA.
He was
the brother of the late Constance and George
Andricopoulos.
FUNERAL NOTICE
ANDRICOPOULOS, of Old Orchard Beach, ME, died April 13,
2007. Arthur A. Andricopoulos. At his request No
Visiting Hours. Family & friends are invited to attend
the funeral Tue. at 10am at the Transfiguration Greek
Orthodox Church on Fr. Sarantos Way, Lowell, MA. Burial
in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell, MA. In lue of flowers,
memorials may be made in his name to the Transfiguration
Greek Orthodox Church, or Lowell VNA Hospice.
