Mrs. Ann Lucretia (LaPelosa) Grestl of Chelmsford, MA died Saturday morning,
April 26, 2008 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA.
She was married to Mr. Bernard P. Grestl with whom she
celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on April 6, 2008.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ on November 18, 1920, the
daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (Mupo) LaPelosa. She was a graduate of
New Brunswick High School with the class of 1936. She received her BA in Drama
and English from Ithaca College in 1941 and her Masters in Elementary Education
from Buffalo State Teachers College.
She taught second grade at the Fletcher School in the
Tonawanda Public Schools in Tonawanda NY until her retirement in 1978.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist
Church of N. Chelmsford, MA.
Besides her husband she is survived by her two
daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy McAdam of Dunedin, FL and Mary Lou and Joseph
Zirnheld of Chelmsford, MA four sisters and two brother—in-laws, Rosa Lee Sisco
of Georgia, Dorothy Ruane of Sea Bright, NJ, Phyllis and Leon Sisco of Nazareth,
PA and Rita and Aldrich Guscott of Highland Park, NJ, seven grandchildren, nine
great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother-in-law of the late James McAdam of
Raleigh, NC who died January 1, 1992.

April 26, 2008. Visiting hours Mon. 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Tues. at 8AM from the
DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9AM at
St. John’s Church in N. Chelmsford. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford.
