 Mrs.
M. Susan (Nazzaro) Bimbo of Lowell, MA formerly of Somerville, MA died
peacefully at her home Wednesday evening, August 20, 2008 after a long
illness.
She was married to the late Mr. Frank Bimbo who died on October 17,
1988.
Born in Cambridge, MA on January 18, 1925, the daughter of the late
Crescenzio and Pasqualina (Mazzarella) Nazzaro. She was a
graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School with the class of 1943, and
continued her education at the age of 64 with a degree in Business
Administration.
She was employed as a Human Resource Manager in the mental health field
for many years with Vinfen.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society “Vivacious Violettes”, and
volunteered for many years at Winchester Hospital. Upon
moving to Lowell in 1999, she became active in volunteer services at
the Greater Lowell YMCA and the Merrimack Repertory Theater.
She also participated in activities at the Lowell Senior Center.
Susan is survived by two sons, Frank A. Bimbo and his wife Deborah
Olauson of Lawrenceville, GA. Edward A. and his wife Deborah Bimbo of
Lowell, MA, four daughters, Susan E. Nazzaro of Lenhartsville, PA,
Annemarie and her husband Sam Yoder of Kutztown, PA, Theresa and her
husband John Daly of Hingham, MA and Hebron, NH, Joyce and her husband
Don Woodworth of Paso Robles, CA, a brother, William Nazzaro of Ft.
Lauderdale, FL, a sister, Mary Grace Kelleher of Burlington, MA, six
grandchildren, Nicole Olauson, Amanda Kilbride, Christopher Bimbo,
Angela Traficante, and Rachel and Emma Yoder, and several nieces and
nephews as well as many close friends.

BIMBO, M. Susan (Nazzaro) Bimbo of Lowell, MA formerly of Somerville,
MA died Aug. 20, 2008. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday,
August 24 at 2:30 PM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 Middlesex ST., N.
Chelmsford, MA 01863. Immediately following her service Susan requested
that family and friends join in a celebration of her life to be held
from 4 to 8PM at Lenzi’s Mill House Rt. 110, Merrimack Ave., Dracut, MA
01826. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name
to the Friends of Winchester Hospital, 41 Highland Ave., Winchester, MA
