Marion E. (Reedy) Merrill, 86, of N. Chelmsford, MA died Thursday August 13, 2009 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Lowell.
She was the wife of the late Elwin C. Merrill who died August 30, 1999.
Born
in Lowell, MA on September 27, 1922, she was the daughter of the late
John and Elizabeth (Nardin) Reedy. Marion was educated in the
Chelmsford School system and graduated from Chelmsford High School.
Marion enjoyed Bingo and shopping at Flea Markets.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.
She
is survived by her daughter, Elaine Speranza of Framingham, MA; her
son, Robert Merrill of N. Chelmsford; three daughters in-law, Marlene
Merrill of Dracut, MA, Rebecca Merrill of Houlton, ME and Karen Merrill
of Chelmsford, MA; a brother and sister in-law, John and Cookie Reedy
of N. Chelmsford, MA; three sisters and a brother in-law, Betty and
Paul Michaud of Dracut, MA, Rita McKinnon of Sacramento, CA and Helen
Christensen of Aberdeen, SD; many grandchildren, great grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her three sons, Brian
Merrill of Dracut who died March 3, 2004, Kenneth Merrill of Houlton,
ME who died in November of 2003 and Ronald Merrill, Sr. of Tyngsboro,
MA who died in March of 2003. She was also predeceased by her son
in-law, Tommy Speranza of Framingham, MA.

Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Pine Ridge
