 Mrs.
Mary (Krowchun) Mickevich of Chelmsford formerly of S. Boston died
Monday evening, August 25, 2008 at Willow Manor in Lowell.
She was married to the late Mr. Steven Mickevich who died in
1970.
Born in Lowell, on July 9, 1914, the daughter of the late Alexander and
Anna (Jankus) Krowchun. She was a graduate of Lowell High
School with the class of 1932, where she was in the National Honor
Society.
She was employed in her earlier years with the Uxbridge Mills as a
laborer.
She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church of S. Boston.
Mary was an active member of the Lithuanian community including the
Lithuanian Sodality and Knights of Lithuania.
She is survived by a sister, Sally Ouellette of Chelmsford, a
brother-in-law, George Ouellette of Chelmsford, MA, several nieces and
nephews including, Linda Ouellette of Hopkinton, MA, Susan Ouellette of
Baltimore, MD, Karen Ouellette of Lowell, MA, and George S. Ouellette
of Noank, CT as well as numerous family friends.
She was the sister of the late John Krowchun who died in 1982 and Al
Krowchun who died in 1983.

Boston died August 25, 2008. Visiting hours Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Thursday at 8 a.m. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX
ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in
Chelmsford. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of
flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Maryknoll Fathers
& Brothers c/o Rev. Dennis Cleary at M.M. P.O. Box 302
