Mr. Robert F. Moore
of N. Chelmsford, MA formerly of Malden, MA and Norwalk, OH died
Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2009 at Lowell General Hospital after a
long illness.
He was married to Mrs. Catherine (Imbriano) Moore with whom he
celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on June
18th.
Born in Brighton, MA on January 24, 1929, the son of the late Frederick
C. and Katherine (Allard) Moore. He was a graduate of Malden
Catholic High School with the class of 1947.
He served with the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Robert retired in 1994 from the United Paper Workers International
Union, AFL-CIO.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of N.
Chelmsford, MA; where he was a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered
with the Parish Bingo.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Odd Fellows.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Moore of
Chelmsford, MA, five sons, Robert F. Moore of Ashburnham, MA, John F.
and his wife Alyce Moore of Groton, MA, Stephen M. Moore of Leominster,
MA, Frederick C. Moore of Palmer, MA, Kenneth A. and his wife Shelly
Moore of Norwalk, OH, two brothers and their wives, Frederick C. and
Pamm Moore of Redwood City, CA and Donald and Marie Moore of Goodyear,
AZ, his mother-in-law, Maria Imbriano of Malden, MA, a sister-in-law,
Jean and her husband, Joseph Sousa of Revere, MA and and a
brother-in-law, John and his wife, Anita Imbriano of Lynn,
MA. Robert is also survived by five grandchildren, Jennifer
D., Jonathan J., Jalyn R., Alexa C., and Ava G. Moore as well as many
nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather of the late Lily Ann Moore, the father-in-law to
the late Evelyn Moore, and a brother-in-law to the late Mario Imbriano.

CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist
Church in N. Chelmsford, MA. Private burial in Forestdale Cemetery,
Malden, MA. Memorials may be made in his name to the LGH Cancer Center,
