Gerald “Jerry” J. Daley, 61, died
Thursday December 24, 2009 after a brief illness at the Lahey Clinic
Medical Center in Burlington, MA surrounded by his loving family.
He was married to Phyllis (Kirane) Daley with whom he celebrated their
41st wedding anniversary on August 10.
Born in Lowell, MA on July 10, 1948, son of Kathleen (Loiselle) Daley
of Merrimack, NH and the late William A. Daley. He was a graduate of
Lowell High School Class of 1967.
Served during the Vietnam War with the US Marines as a Lance Corporal.
In 1972, he established Jerry Daley & Sons Plumbing and Heating
Co. and was co-owner with his son Jerry.
He was a member of the American Legion AW Vinal Post 313 of N.
Chelmsford and the Fletcher Club of Westford. Jerry was also an avid
sports fan.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of N. Chelmsford.
Besides his wife and mother, Jerry is survived by two sons Gerald J.
and his wife, Tina Daley of Chelmsford, and Michael G. Daley and his
partner, Laurie Giadione of Saugus, MA; two daughters, Kelly O’Boyle
and her fiancé, Paul Matachun of Chelmsford and Karen Donahue and her
husband Douglas of Westford, MA; two brothers, William A. Daley and his
companion, Theresa of Shelburne,` NH, and Donald and his wife, Paulette
Daley of Carpentersville, IL; two sisters, Patricia Panas and her
husband, Robert of Nashua, NH and Kathleen Warren of Hudson, NH; eight
grandchildren, Eric J. McNulty, Briana N. O’Boyle, Ryan D. Donahue,
Shannon A. Donahue, Madison K. Daley, Morgan T. Daley, Michael G. Daley
and Brooke A. Daley; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He will also be
missed by many close friends

Visiting hours Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Tuesday at 8 AM from the
DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at
9 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford, MA. Burial
