Mrs. Angelina Rita
(D’Arezzo) Dirubbo of North Chelmsford, MA died peacefully Saturday,
December 5, 2009 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
She was married to the late Mr. Angelo Dirubbo who passed away April
11, 1974.
Born in Viatino, Italy on July 24, 1921, the daughter of the late
Michael and Guiseppina (DeAngelis) D’Arezzo. She was educated
in the Lowell Public Schools.
Angelina was employed as a Supervisor for more than 44 years with the
Prince Macaroni Company in Lowell until her retirement in 1983.
She loved cooking for family and friends and was known for her
delicious salads, meatballs and sauce, Angelina had unconditional love
for her family and always put others first. She also enjoyed rug
braiding and spending quality time with family and friends.
She is survived by one beloved daughter, Linda Biro of N. Chelmsford,
one granddaughter, Lisa Hyland and her husband, Michael of Tyngsboro,
one sister, Hilda Nahill of Salem, NH, brother-in-law, Jerry Diribbo of
N. Chelmsford, nieces, Barbara Nahill Agazarian and her husband David
of Salem, NH, Nancy Nahill Monti and her husband, Jeff of Cumberland,
RI, Joyce Hamm of Chelmsford, Charlene Frishman of Dracut, Susan
Fernadois of Lowell, nephews, Michael D’Arezzo and his wife Debbie of
Methuen, Thomas Nahill and his wife Robin of Amherst, NH, Richard J.
Gleason and his partner, Linda Young both of Westford, David Dirubbo
and his wife, Jacquie, of Stoughton, James Dirubbo of NH, Donald
Dirubbo of Dracut, several great-nieces and great-nephews, three
great-grandchildren, Patrick, Dillon and Tyler Hyland all of Tyngsboro
for whom she babysat.
She was the sister of the late Rose (D’Arezzo) Peccerillo ,Anthony
D’Arezzo and his late wife Marie, Alma Gleason and her late husband,
Jim, mother-in-law of the late John Biro, sister-in-law of the late
Nellie and Peter Dirubbo, Cicile, Rosela and Juggo Dirubbo .
FUNERAL NOTICE
Dirubbo, Angelina Rita (D’Arezzo) Dirubbo of N. Chelmsford, died
December 5, 2009. Visiting hours Wednesday 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral Thursday at 11 a.m. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST.
CHELMSFORD, with a burial to follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
