Gena "Virginia" (Posnak)
Sedelnick of N. Chelmsford
died Thursday December 3, 2009 at the Heritage Nursing Care Center in
Lowell, MA.
She was the wife of the late Nicholas Sedelnick who died
Dec. 14, 1996.
Born in Chelmsford on Jan. 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late
John and Mary (Bayda) Posnak. Gena graduated from Chelmsford
High School with the class of 1939.
She worked at the Uxbridge Worstered Mill in Lowell, and later at Joan
Fabrics in Lowell retiring after 30 years in 1984.
She was a member of the Chelmsford Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by a son, Paul Sedelnick of Newport Center, VT; former
daughter-in-law, Jill M. (DiBiase) Bessette of Vergennes, VT; one
brother and two sister in-laws, Steven and Anne (Murphy) Belida of Ft.
Myers, FL and Isabel Posnak of Lowell,MA; 4 grandchildren, Gena
Sedelnick and Hillary Sedelnick, David Dibiase all of VT. and Jessie
Powers; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, George Posnak of Chelmsford and
Paul Posnak of Lowell; two brother in-laws, Archibald Sedelnick and
Stephen Sedelnick of N. Chelmsford.

Funeral Home 106 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA. Funeral Monday at 11:00
at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial in the Russian Brotherhood Cemetery,
