 Thomas “Tim” Edward
Dolan, 93, formerly of Waltham, MA died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at
Nashua Crossings, in Nashua, NH with family members by his side.
He was beloved husband of the late Eleanor “El” (Moore) Dolan for over
sixty years, who died in September of
2004.
Born in Boston, MA on April 17 of 1915, the son of the late Hubert and
Catherine (McFarland) Dolan. He grew up in Boston and was a
graduate of Boston English High School, class of 1933. He later
attended Boston University for two years.
Tim was a manager at General Tires in Dedham, MA where he retired in
1980.
He was a communicant of Holy Family Church of St. Lucie, Florida where
he spent most of his retirement. An avid sports fan, Tim enjoyed golf,
bowling and dancing. He was also a past member of the Newman Club of
Boston.
Besides his son Tim and daughter-in-law Molly Dolan of Tyngsboro MA, he
is survived by his daughter Katherine and her husband David Ashe of
Hampton, MA and his grandchildren: Timmie and Courtney Dolan, Kurt
Dolan, Deidre Ashe and her fiancé Andrew Toland and Kerry and Justin
Aube.
He was the brother of the late John, Herbert and Charles Dolan. He also
had five sisters: Mae Callahan, Betty Harrington, Helen Dolan, Cecilia
Doherty, and Peggy Dolan.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Dolan, Thomas E. Dolan, of Florida, died February 17. Visiting hours
are Friday. 3 to 7pm. Funeral Saturday at 8:00am from the DOLAN FUNERAL
HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9:00AM at St.
John the Evangelist Church. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston, MA.
