 Mrs. Lillian (Lake)
Gabaree of Lowell died Wednesday morning, February 5, 2009, at Lowell
General Hospital after a long illness.
She was married to the late Harold Gabaree who passed away on September
9, 2008.
Lillian was born in Lowell, MA on July 18, 1934, the daughter of the
late Patrick J. and Anne (Purtell) Lake Sr. She attended St. Peter
School and Lowell High School.
In her earlier years, she was employed with Merrimack Magnetics and
Heinze Electric both of Lowell, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Margaret Church of Lowell.
She is survived by three stepsons, Bruce and his wife Diane Gabaree of
Belmont, NH, Keith Gabaree and his companion, Linda Wagner both of
Lyndonville, VT, David Gabaree of Phoenix, AZ, a stepdaughter, Denny T.
Gabaree and her companion, David S. Morrow both of Lowell, a sister, M.
Jacqueline Peladeau of Lowell, 6 step-grandchildren, 14
step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and close family friends.
She was the sister of the late Albert, Edward, Margaret and Esther
Thibodeau of Lowell, and the late Francis, John, William, and Patrick
Lake of Lowell.
FUNERAL NOTICE
GABAREE, Lillian (Lake) Gabaree of Lowell died Feb. 5, 2009. Visiting
hours are Sun. from 4 to 7PM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX
ST., N. CHELMSFORD. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on
Mon. at 8:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30
AM at St. Margaret Church, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery,
