 Miss Elizabeth
“Lillian” Kane of Lowell, MA died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at
Wingate at Lowell Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Residence.
Born in Lowell, MA on July 4, 1907, the daughter of the late Patrick
and Sarah (McGrail) Kane. She was a graduate of Lowell High
School with the class of 1926. Lillian was a member of the Spindle City
Lowell Chapter #2694, the Blessed Virgin Sodality, the League of
Catholic Women, the Poor Clare Guild, the Lowell Senior Citizen's and
St. Patrick's School Alumni Association.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church of Lowell as well as St.
Joseph's Workers Shrine also in Lowell.
She is survived by her nephew, Thomas and his wife Marytherese Linehan
of Lowell, a niece, Annmarie Garceau-DiLorenzo and her husband Leonard
DiLorenzo of North Kingstown, RI, and several grand nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John Kane, Joseph Kane, Agnes Linehan,
Sister Rose Marie Kane OSF, and Rose Mary Kane.

2009. Funeral Sat. at 8AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106
MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9AM at St. Patrick
Church in Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell. Memorials
