Francis Edward Larkin of N. Chelmsford died Thursday,
February 14, 2008 at the Town and Country Nursing Center
in Lowell after a long illness.
Born in Chelmsford on August 20, 1917, he was the son of
the late John and Margaret (Dunigan) Larkin.
He
attended the Chelmsford, MA and Cranston, RI school
systems. During WW II He served in the Army Air Corp. as
a Master Sergeant. He worked as a Custodian at the
Chelmsford School Dept. for many years before retiring
in 1983. He had previously worked at Bon Marche and
Nichols & Co.
He was
a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church N.
Chelmsford. He was the Chapter Chairman of Local 1703 of
the American Federated State, County, Municipal
Employees Union.
He is
survived by a sister, Mrs. John (Mary) McQuade of Ft.
Lauderdale, FL; three nieces, Margaret Larkin of Nashua,
NH, Mrs. Arthur (Mary Louise) Clark of Miami, FL, and
Kathy McQuade of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and a nephew,
Walter McQuade of, Ft. Lauderdale FL.
He was
brother of the late John and Arthur Larkin of N.
Chelmsford and the late Mrs. Anthony (Katherine)
Votaloto of Providence, RI.

Larkin, Francis E. Larkin of N. Chelmsford, died
February 14, 2008. Per Frank’s request there are no
visiting hours. Funeral Monday at 8 AM from the
DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford with a
funeral Mass at 9 AM at St. John the Evangelist
Church N. Chelmsford. Burial Fairview Cemetery,
Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in his memory to St.
John=s
