Obituary for

Darcy Williams Wilkins

Of Nashua, NH

Mr. Darcy William Wilkins of Nashua, NH died Friday, January 23, 2009 at his home in Nashua, NH.

He was happily married to Mrs. Linda (Mwanza) Wilkins with whom he would have celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in May of 2009.   

Born in Lowell, MA on April 11, 1975, the son of David R. and Diane E. (Ingalls) Wilkins both of Lowell.  He was a graduate of the Greater Lowell Regional Vocational High School in Tyngsboro with the class of 1993 and he also attended Hessier College in Nashua, NH.

He served proudly with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Persian Gulf War, he was also deployed to Haiti and Bosnia, Mr. Wilkins received numerous commendations and citations and was honorably discharged in December 1996.

He was employed as a Tower Technician with All State Communications in Birmingham, AL.

He was a member of Christ Jubilee Church of Lowell, MA.

He enjoyed the outdoors especially jet skiing, he was an avid sports fan especially the Boston Red Sox, Celtics and N.E. Patriots. Darcy had a zest for life and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.

Besides his parents and loving wife, Linda, he is survived by a brother, David Wilkins of Litchfield, NH, several aunts, uncles, including his favorite Aunt Marie Ingalls of Dracut, several cousins, including Kenneth Ingalls of Chelmsford, who was like a brother to Darcy, Katie Ingalls of Dracut, he is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Gwen and Mbalanda Mwanza, a brother-in-law, A.J. Boykai all of Lowell, as well a several close family friends.

Mr. Wilkins was buried in Bourne National Cemetery, Bourne, MA and received full military honors.
