 Mrs.
Beverly Ruth (Harvey) Hurley, 81, of Westford, MA died Tuesday, January
20, 2009 at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA., after a
brief illness.
She was happily married for 43 years to the late Ralph Hurley who died on October 7, 1997.
Born
in Manchester, NH on October 15, 1927, the daughter of the late George
and Zela (Danforth) Harvey. After her mother died she was raised
by George’s second wife, the beloved Winifred Harvey.
She
was a graduate of Lowell High School, where she earned the award of
musician of the year all four years of her high school career.
She was employed with Raytheon Corporation in S. Lowell.
She
was a member of Puritan Chapter #54 Eastern Star, Past Mother Advisor
of Lowell Assembly #42, the Order of the Rainbow for Girls for 15 years
where she was also a member of the Advisory Board, and the recipient of
the Grand Cross of Color, and the Order of Amaranth Nashoba Valley
Court 13. Beverly loved her summers in York beach, ME, and loved
lighthouses.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Adams of
Lowell, two grandsons, Justin Adams of Portland, OR and Jared Adams of
Lowell, three brothers-in-law, Russell Hurley of Lowell, Edward and
Shirley Hurley of Dracut, Thomas Hurley of Hudson, NH, one
sister-in-law, Jacqueline and George Baldwin of Lowell,many nieces and
nephews, several great nieces and nephews, a Godchild, Joann Hurley
Pickard; and a dear friend, Anita Adams of Lowell.
She was the sister of the late Charles and Randall Harvey and Eleanor McGarry and Alice Grant

Beverly R. (Harvey) Hurley of Westford, MA died January 20, 2009.
Visiting hours are Sunday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services are Monday
at 11:00 a.m. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD.
Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations
can made to the Shriner’s Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA
