 Mrs. Sarah Margaret
(Payne) Tully of Dunstable, MA died Friday night January 9, 2009 at the
Westford House Nursing Home in Westford after a long illness.
She was married to the late Mr. Eugene E. Tully who died in August,
2005.
Sarah was born in Lowell, MA on August 12, 1917, the daughter of the
late John J. and Margaret (Nicholson) Payne. She was a
graduate of Keith Hall in Lowell with the class of 1935.
She was employed in her early years with the Raytheon Corporation in
Waltham.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of N.
Chelmsford.
She was a member of the League of Catholic Women, and the Dunstable
Senior Citizens.
Sarah was an avid antique searcher and enjoyed attending the antique
shows with her son, Bud.
She is survived by her only son, Eugene “Bud” Tully of Dunstable, a
brother-in-law, George Tully of Dunstable, a sister-in-law, Ruth and
her husband Alvin Choate of Tyngsboro, as well as many nieces, nephews
and several dear friends.
She was the sister of the late Jack J. Payne of Dunstable who died in
2004.

Evangelist Church, N. Chelmsford. Burial in Central Cemetery,
