 Mr. Arthur “Cupcake” Montgomery, 57, a
life long resident of Billerica, MA died early Monday morning, July 14,
2008 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a brief
battle with cancer.
Born in Woburn, on August 27, 1950, the son of the late Thomas and
Georgina (Butchart) Montgomery. He was educated in Billerica
schools and was a member of the Track Team at Billerica High School.
He owned and operated A.M Home Improvements of Billerica for many
years. In his early years he was employed with Monsanto Chemical
Company.
He adored his children and grandchildren. He was a former member of the
Billerica Elks.
He is survived by a son, Arthur Montgomery, Jr. of Lawrence, two
daughters and their husbands, Stacey and Samuel Ayala of Haverhill,
Lisa and Carl Sutera of Lowell, six cherished grandchildren; 4
brothers, Thomas (Ronnie) Montgomery and David Montgomery both of
Billerica, Kenneth Montgomery of Chelmsford and Robert Montgomery of
Wells, ME; One sister, Cheryl Knickle of Billerica, many nieces,
nephews and close family friends.
He was the brother of the late Lois Howe with whom he lived with for
many years.
FUNERAL NOTICE
MONTGOMERY, Arthur D. Montgomery of Billerica, died July 14, 2008. A
Graveside Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Fox
Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Memorials may be made in his name to the Dana
Farber Cancer Research 1309 Beacon St. Brookline, MA 02446-9918.
