Mr. Charles Henry
Rich, Sr. of Dunstable, MA died Wednesday morning, July 29, 2009 at
Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare Center in Nashua, NH.
He was happily married to Mrs. Priscilla (Hersey) Rich with whom he had
celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on January 18,
2009.
Born in Gardner, MA on December 5, 1925, the son of the late Howard E.
and Lillian (Lynch) Rich. He was raised in Tyngsborough and
attended Tyngsborough Public Schools.
Mr. Rich was a employed for ore than 42 years with the Blue Line
Express Trucking in Nashua, NH, and retired in 1988, after his
retirement he was a volunteer Fireman for the Town of Dunstable and
worked with Dunstable Highway Department.
He was a lifelong member of the Dunstable Congregational Church.
Mr. Rich was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 633 in Manchester,
NH.
He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends especially his
nine cherished grandchildren, among them Brian Rich of Dunstable with
whom he lived with, and four great-grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife, Priscilla, he is survived by a son and
daughter-in-law, Dunstable Fire Chief Charles H. and Nancy Rich, Jr. of
Pepperell, MA, a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Carol Rich of
Webster, MA, a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Harvey LaCasse of
Hudson, NH, three sisters-in-law, Edna Stevens and her husband Robie,
Ruth Rogers and Marian Taylor all of Dunstable, his faithful dog, Pete,
and many nieces, nephews and close family friends.
He was the Father of the late Howard F. Rich of Dunstable who died
February 14, 2006, he was the brother of the late Donald Rich of Maine
and Dorothy Courchaine of Tyngsborough who died January 14, 1984.

RICH, Charles H. Rich, Sr., of Dunstable, MA died July 29, 2009.
Visiting hours Monday 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday at 11 a.m. in
the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Burial in Central
Cemetery, Dunstable. Memorials may be made in his name to the Dunstable
Firefighters Assoc. D.V.F.F.A. Inc. P O Box 96 Dunstable, MA 01827.
