Mr. John F.
Romanowski of Dracut, MA died Sunday morning, July 19, 2009 at
D’Youville Senior Care Center in Lowell, MA after a long illness.
John
was born in Lowell, MA on May 9, 1920, the son of the late Jacob and
Elizabeth (Kastecka) Romanowski. He attended the Kenwood School
in Dracut, MA.
Before WWII he served with the Civilian
Conservation Corp, and later he served with the U.S. Army during WWII
in the Pacific Theatre.
John retired in 1985 from Raytheon after 24 years of being with the company.
He was a communicant of St. Francis Church of Dracut, MA.
Being an aviation enthusiast, John loved to travel by air.
John
is survived by two brothers, Michael and his wife Katherine Romanowski
of Dracut, MA and Albert Romanowski of Methuen, MA, a nephew, Albert
Romanowski Jr. of Billerica, MA, three nieces, Karen and her husband
David Coupal of Dracut, MA, Judith and her husband Dennis Sullivan of
Tyngsboro, MA, and Laura Romanowski of Dracut, MA. He is also
survived by many cousins, grand nieces and a nephew.

Mr. John F. Romanowski of Dracut, MA died July 19, 2009. No Visiting
hours. A funeral Mass will be Thurs. at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis
Church in Dracut, MA. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
