Obituary for

Jeanette M. Stanewicz 

of Nashua, NH, formerly of Lowell, MA

 
Mrs. Jeanette M. (Stickney) Stanewicz of Nashua, NH., formerly of Lowell, MA, died July 12, 2009 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by her family.

She was married to the late Frank A. Stanewicz who died on Nov. 4, 1997.    

Born in Nashua, NH, on June 18, 1928, the daughter of the late E. James and Marguerite (Sullivan) Stickney.  She was a graduate of Nashua High School with the class of 1946.

In her early years she was employed with the New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. in Nashua, NH, and later in life she was an Aide for the Morey School in Lowell, MA.

She was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church of Lowell, MA., for over 49 years, and St. John Neumann Church in Merrimack, NH.

She was a member of T.O.P.S in Lowell, MA, and Weight Watchers in Hollis, NH. Jeanette was an avid card player.

She is survived by two daughters Jean M. Zelonis of Bedford, NH, and Patricia and her husband Frederick Horstkotte of Milford, MA, and two sons and their wives Frank and Denise (Baillargeon) Stanewicz of Plaistow, NH, and William and Debbie (McCue) Stanewicz of Hudson, NH, and seven grandchildren Valerie and Michael Zelonis, Kate and Thomas Horstkotte, and Kevin and Derek Stanewicz, and Taylor Ann Stanewicz, two Sisters Sister Jean Stickney LCM of Chicago, IL, Shirley and her husband Richard Chacos of Milford, NH, and two brothers Philip and his wife Shirley Stickney of Merrimack, NH, and Ronald Stickney of Hudson, NH, and sister-in-laws Dorothy Stickney of Nashua, NH, Helen Patnaunde of Dracut, MA, Ann Kleber of Lowell, MA, and Lena Rinker of Newport News, VA, and many nieces and nephews and a dear cousin Ethel Covey of Litchfield, NH.

She was the sister of the late Pauline Hoffman of Merrimack, NH, Fred A. Stickney of Nashua, NH, and James F. Stickney of Nashua, NH.
