Mrs.
Lillian (Harmon) Hampton of
Nashua, NH died Sunday, June 1, 2008
at Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare after a long illness.
She
was married to Mr. William
A. Hampton with whom she celebrated their 65th
wedding anniversary
on January 1, 2008.
Born
in Medford,
MA
on June 1, 1924,
the daughter of the late Victor and Ida (Brown) Harmon.
She was a graduate of Lexington
High
School
with the class of 1942.
She
was employed with Baird
Corporation in Bedford,
MA
until her retirement in 1989.
She
was a member of the
Dunstable Congregational Church of Dunstable, MA where she played the
organ.
She
was a member of the Concord,
MA
Eastern Star, the Historian for the Dunstable Historical Society and a
volunteer at the Dunstable Library. She was an avid gardener and loved
wild
flowers and birds.
Besides
her husband, she is
survived by two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Kenneth Harmon of New Ipswich, NH, and Victor and
Glenice Harmon, Jr. of
Windham, NH and Jean Carpenter of Dunstable, MA.
She was
the sister of the late
George Harmon of Kingston,
NH and Edwin Harmon of Palmer, MA.
FUNERAL

Services were held yesterday at the Dunstable Congregation Church.

Cemetery,
Dunstable, MA.
