 Krikor Frank
Minasian, 76, of Dracut, MA died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Lahey
Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a long illness.
He was the husband of Theresa (Pereira) Minasian with whom he would
have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on October 12, 2009.
Born in Lowell, MA on March 28, 1933, he was a son of the late Malkas
and Mariam (Mativosian) Menasian. Raised and educated in Lowell, he
graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1952.
During the Korean War, he served in the US Army attaining the rank of
Corporal. Frank was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the Good Conduct
Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Medal.
Frank worked as a Compositor at the Lowell Sun Newspaper for over 51
years. A resident of Dracut for over 50 years, he coached Little League
and Pop Warner. Frank was very active member of St. Vartanantz Armenian
Apostolic Church in Chelmsford. He served as Trustee for 32 years,
worked on the Church’s newspaper, and served on the committee of the
Church’s Endowment Fund. He was the Godfather of the Church.
Frank held membership in the Armenian American Veterans, the VFW Post
662 of Lowell, the Lowell Veterans Council, St. Louis Veterans, the
Polish American Veterans, honorary member of the Greek American
Veterans, and the Armenian Genocide Commemorative Committee of the
Merrimack Valley. Frank was also the Grand Marshall for the Memorial
Day Parade.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Frank Krikor Minasian and
his wife Robin of Nashua, NH; a daughter, Donna T. Minasian-Friedman
and her husband Michael Freidman of the Tampa Bay Area in FL; two
brothers Vahan Menasian of Dracut, Mel Menasian and his wife Judy of
Methuen; nieces and nephews, Lisa Menasian of Methuen, Nancy Shields
and her husband Arthur of Kingston, N.H.; Craig Menasian and his wife
Andrea of Methuen; Lorrie Chaisson and her husband Robert of Methuen;
Anthony Marchand and Carrie of Salem, N.H.; many grandnieces and
grandnephews; and several cousins.

HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA 01863. Funeral Thurs. at 10:00
a.m. from the Funeral Home with Services at 11:00 a.m. in St.
Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 180 Old Westford Rd. Chelmsford,
MA 01824. Burial in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers may
be made in his name to St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church 180 Old
