Obituary for

John W. Peredina

Owner of Greater Lowell Ticket Sales

Mr. John W. Peredina, 57, of Dracut, MA died Tuesday night, June 16, 2009 at his home after a long illness.

He lived with his longtime loving companion, Mrs. Rosemary Hirbour for 17 years.  
 
John was born in Lowell, MA on March 15, 1952, the son of Doris Peredina of Tyngsboro, MA and the late John V. Peredina.  He was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1970.

He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

John owned and operated the Greater Lowell Ticket Sales of Lowell, MA.

He was a member of DLKV Lithuanian Club, where he was the manager and on the Board of Directors and was past president.  John was also a member of the Dracut American Legion, and Lowell Motor Boat Club, where he enjoyed cruising the Merrimack River with his family and friends.

Besides his loving Rosemary and mother, he is survived by three sons, John W. Peredina Jr. of Revere, MA, Brian Peredina of Dracut, MA, and Richard Proulx and his companion, Ellen Cregg of Dracut, MA, a daughter Sheryll and her husband Timothy Lepine of Pelham, NH, a brother, Steven and Janice Peredina, and two sisters, Linda Mahoney of Dracut, MA and Joanne Coulter of Tyngsboro, MA.  John is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a great grandchild, many nieces and nephews as well as close friends, Robert and Lorna Edie of N. Billerica, MA.
