 Mr. Dominick M.
Altobello, 66 of Chelmsford, MA died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at The
Villages Regional Hospital in The Villages, Florida.
He was married to Mrs. Janet L. (Christiansen) Altobello with whom he
would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on July 25,
2009.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 12, 1943, the son of Maria
(Suriani) Altobello of Leonia, NJ and the late Michael M.
Altobello. He was a graduate of Leonia High School with the
class of 1960, and received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical
Engineering from Steven Institute of Hoboken, NJ in 1964.
Dominick later received two Masters Degrees in Mechanical Engineering
and Business from Northeastern University of Boston, MA.
Dominick retired in 2005 from Raytheon of Lowell and Andover, MA where
he was an Engineering Manager.
He was a former member of the Chelmsford Elks, and coached Chelmsford
youth sports. Dominick loved to travel, and spend time with
his family. He was an avid line dancer.
Besides his beloved wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters,
Michele M. and her husband, Thomas Sloan of Milford, NH, Nichole D. and
her husband, Christian Flores of Brookline, NH, a son, Michael D.
Altobello of Merrimack, NH, a sister, Gayten and her husband Daniel
McAvoy of Leonia, NJ, seven cherished grandsons, Michael, Derek,
Joseph, and Sebastian Altobello, Nicholas Sloan, Caleb and Dominick
Flores, as well as several nieces, nephews, a grand nephew and close
family friends.
He was the grandfather of the late Angela Altobello.

Visiting hours Wed. 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Thurs. at 8AM from the DOLAN
FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9AM
at St. Mary Church in Chelmsford. Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery,
Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in his name to the Joslin Diabetes
