Obituary for

Pauline Gertrude (Fallon) Crowell

Dunstable, MA

Pauline was born in North Chelmsford on July 23, 1927 where she lived most of her life until moving to Dunstable in 1988. She died peacefully at home on Thursday evening, March 23, 2006, with her children at her bedside.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Gertrude M. (Doyle) Fallon.

She was the loving wife of the Elmer G. Crowell who died in 1993.

During her lifetime Pauline worked in the Chelmsford mills, and during WWII she she worked at Fort Devens. She married Elmer in 1946 and started a family, she helped her husband, Elmer, start the C.Y.A.C. Baseball League in Chelmsford, which operated for twenty years. She was active in the American Legion Post 313 in North Chelmsford, as well as the state chapter with her husband.

She leaves two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna J. Crowell of Dunstable, Paula A. and Kevin Chamberlain of Raymond, NH, four sons and four daughters-in-law, Richard R. and Barbara R. (Guptill) Crowell of Dixmont, ME, Thomas G. and Cheryl A. (Arcese) Crowell of Tyngsboro, George M. and Rebecca (Strickland) Crowell of Allen, TX, Scott A. and Karyn (Beaulieu) Crowell of Manchester, NH, two sisters, Bertha Sadowski of North Chelmsford, Patricia Wojeck of Tyngsboro, eight grandchildren, Tommy and Robby of Tyngsboro, Ashley, Shannon, and Leah all of Allen, TX, Erin and Gilman of Raymond, NH, and Jessica of Manchester, NH, several nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

She was the sister of the late Robert Fallon of CA, and Edward Fallon of MA.
