Mrs. Prudence (Sawyer) Kelley of North Chelmsford, MA
died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Saints Memorial Medical
Center in Lowell, MA.
She was married to Mr. John Kelley with whom she
would have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on
July 11, 2006.
She was born in Swanton, VT on December 30, 1946, the
daughter of the late Keith and Madeline (Proulx) Sawyer.
She attended St. Anne Academy in Swanton, VT with the
class of 1965, and was a graduate of Burlington High
School, Vermont; she later attended Burlington College
also in Burlington, Vermont.
She was employed over the years with General Electric
in Burlington, VT, Dr. Robert Lynam's office in
Colchester, VT, and most recent at the Lahey Clinic in
Burlington, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in
Chelmsford, MA, as well as the Nativity Church in
Swanton, VT.
She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved animals
and supported their humane treatment with her membership
in the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals.
Besides her loving husband, John, she is survived by
a son Fritz Hubacher of Crescent City, FL, a brother and
sister-in-law, Thomas and Susan Sawyer of Vermont, a
sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Norman Vincelette
of Keeseville, NY, as well as many nieces, nephews,
great nieces and nephews and close family friends.
She was the loving Mother of the late Keith Morgan of
Swanton, VT who died in 1969, and Annmary M. McKinney of
N. Chelmsford, MA who died in 2000.

March 1, 2006. Visiting hours Fri. 6 to 9 p.m. at the
DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA and
Sun. 2 to 5 PM at Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave.,
Swanton, VT. Her funeral will be Mon 10AM at Kidder
Memorial Home followed by a funeral mass at 11AM at
Nativity Church in Swanton, VT. Burial in St. Mary
Cemetery, Swanton, VT. Memorials may be made in her name
to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell,
