 Mr.
Michael Patrick McAndrews of Chelmsford, MA died Sunday
morning, March 19, 2006 after a courageous battle with
cancer, surrounded by his loving family at Youville
Hospital in Cambridge, MA.Born and raised in Lowell,
MA on June 4, 1941, he was a son of the late Thomas F.
and Marion (Corbett) McAndrews. He attended
Keith Academy in Lowell, and later graduated from Dracut
High School with the class of 1958, following high
school he attended Lowell Technical Institute, and
continued his education earning his MBA from the
University of Lowell.
Mr. McAndrews was employed throughout the years as a
Pipe Fitter
with BT JAY Local Union #537.
He was an avid New England Patriots fan and
especially enjoyed
kayaking the waterways throughout New England.
He is survived by three daughters and two
sons-in-law, Virginia "Dedi" McAndrews of Lowell,
Michaelanne McAndrews-Ryan and her husband, Robert "Bob"
Ryan of Lowell, Kristine A. McAndrews-Panagiotopoulos
and her husband Theodore S. Panagiotopoulos of Lowell; a
son and daughter-in-law, Mark P. and Ivonne (Ramirez)
McAndrews of St. Charles, MO; a brother and
sister-in-law, J. Kevin and Susan McAndrews of Groton,
NY, a sister Kathleen M. Donovan of Lowell, two beloved
aunts, Sister Mary Ellen McAndrews, SND, of Ipswich,
two beloved aunts Grace Chung McAndrews, with whom he resided with in
Chelmsford, three grandchildren, Jonathan P. Ryan,
Michael R. Ryan, and Mikaela A, Therrien, all of Lowell;
his former wife Margaret "Peg" (Howe) McAndrews of
Lowell, MA; several nieces, nephews, and close family
friends.

at 9 AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST.
CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 10 AM at St.
Michael's Church, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick's
Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers memorials may be
made in his name to the Shriners Burns Institute 51
