Formerly of Lowell

Mrs. Joanne (Licata) Palladino, 59, of Cornelius, NC formerly of Lowell,MA died unexpectedly Sat. March 22, 2008.

She was married over 32 years to Angelo M. Palladino.    

Born in Boston, MA on June 18, 1948, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Corallo) Licata. Raised in Lowell, she attended St. Peter’s School and the Lowell school system.

Joanne worked for CTI in Lowell as a bus driver for many years.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and was a member of the Italian-American Womens & Sons of Italy Club in Lowell.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and two sons in-law, Tammy (Riessle)and Alan Mathews of Lowell, Tina (Riessle-Robinson) and Jay Farrell of Clinton, MA; two sons, Philip Riessle Jr. of N. Chelmsford and Joseph Palladino of Cornelius, NC; 8 grandchildren, Caroline, Alan, Teela, Sara, Jacob, Haylee, Joshua and Lucas; 1 great grandchild, Janellies; a very dear friend, Martha Malave of Lowell; many brothers, sisters, nieces,nephews and longtime friend and former husband Philip Riessle Sr of N. Chelmsford.

Visiting hours Sat. morning from 9 to 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Cremation in North Carolina.
