 Mary Grace (George)
Couto of Chelmsford, MA died Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Westford House
in Westford, MA.
She was the former wife of the late George Farpelha and the late Joseph
Couto.
Mary was born in Somerville, MA on November 21, 1911, the daughter of
the late Manuel H. and Philomena (Grace) George, and was educated in
the Somerville and Arlington school systems.
Mary was employed over the years with Lowell General Hospital Business
Offices, and then later with Durkin’s Inc of Lowell, MA.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Chelmsford,
and belonged to the 3rd Order of St. Francis and the Chelmsford Senior
Center.
She is survived by four daughters, Helena G. Couto of Chelmsford, Maria
and her husband Bradford Kuentz of Texas, Frances Galvin of Stowe, MA
and Anne M. and her husband Donald Graham of Woburn, MA, six
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are TODAY 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Monday at 8:00 a.m. from
the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral
Mass at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Chelmsford. Burial
