Mrs.
Edith Evelyn (Mahon) Hainsworth, 92, of Littleton, MA formerly of N. Chelmsford,
MA died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Life Care of Nashoba Valley in Littleton, MA.
She was married to the late Mr. James Hainsworth who died on September 7, 1993.
Edith was born in Chelmsford, MA on August 23, 1915,
the daughter of the late Philip W. and Martha (Swanwick) Machon. She was a
graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1932.
She was an active member of Mass Baptist Temple of N.
Chelmsford, MA.
She was a member of the Chelmsford Senior Citizen’s
Club and a clerk in Post Abbott Worcesters in Forge Village.
Edith was accomplished artist who loved to paint. She
also enjoyed gardening.
Besides her late husband, she is survived by numerous
cousins, as well as many dear friends.
