Mrs.
Mildred (Iatron) Rassias, 89, a resident of Nashua, NH, died Wed. May
7, 2008 at home.
She was the wife of the late George A. Rassias of Chelmsford who died
January 25, 1999.
Millie (to her friends) was born in Lowell, MA on November 11, 1918,
the daughter of the late George and Mary (Gekas) Iatron and sister of
the late Charles and George Iatron of Lowell, MA.
She was raised in Lowell and was educated in the Lowell Public Schools.
Millie worked at the Chelmsford Marshall’s and had a love for playing
cards and bingo. In her younger years she was a member of the Holy
Trinity Greek Orthodox Church’s Choir, the Daughters of Penelope at the
Transfiguration Church and an assistant Girl Scout Leader.
She is survived by a daughter, Maureen and her husband, George Manekas
of Nashua, NH, two sons, Arthur and his wife Suzanne (Monty) Rassias
with whom she made her home and George Jr. and his wife Linda (Quimby)
Rassias of Nashua, NH; her late brother, George’s wife, Irene Iatron of
Lowell, MA; five grandchildren, Jason Manekas and his wife, Jillian of
Boston, MA, Chris Manekas and his wife, Dina of Agawam, MA, Tara
Rassias of Lowell, MA, Alicia and her husband, Ryan Renard of Wisconsin
and Krista Rassias of Wisconsin; three Great grandchildren, Jacob
Rassias, Cohen and Justin Manekas; many nieces, nephews, and countless
close family friends.

Visiting hours are Fri. 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Sat. at 10:30AM at the
DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in
Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell, MA. In remembrance of Millie
