Obituary for

Frank T. Robinson

of Lowell

Frank T. Robinson, 66, of Lowell entered the Kingdom of Heaven while vacationing in Rapid City, South Dakota on Sunday May 17, 2009.

He was the husband of Elaine (Kierce) Robinson with whom he would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on July 7th.

Born in Brockton, MA on October 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Frank T. and Gladys (Russell) Robinson. He grew up in Middleboro and graduated from Middleboro High School with the Class of 1960. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Lowell Technical College.

Frank proudly served in the US Coast Guard for 5 years.

He worked as an Engineer with Wang for many years and retired in 2005 from Getronics of Tewksbury. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved camping and touring the US with his beloved wife Elaine.

Frank was a communicant of the Holy Family Parish.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Frank T. Robinson and his wife Tammy (Terris) Robinson of Hudson, NH, and James Ntapalis of Somerville, MA; a brother, David and his wife Norma Robinson of Middleboro, MA; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Frank and Sandi Kierce of Mooresville, NC, Beverly Ntapalis of Dracut, MA, Dorothy and Walter McGrath of Tewksbury, MA, Joseph Kierce of Lowell, MA, Robert and Janice Kierce of Tyngsboro, MA, Bernard Kierce of Londonderry, NH and Richard Kierce of Lowell, MA; three grandchildren, Patrick and Daniel Robinson, and George Ntapalis; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Sat. at 9:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home with a Mass at 10:00a.m. at St. Marie’s Church at Holy Family Parish 80 Chamberlain St. Lowell, MA. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
