Theresa (Daley) Soucier, 78, of North Chelmsford, MA died Saturday May 3, 2008
at her home surrounded by her family after a long illness.
She was the wife of Richard “Jim” Soucier with whom
she celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on October 23.
Born in Lowell, MA on December 15, 1929,the daughter
of the late Harold and Mary (McGann) Daley. She graduated from Lowell Vocational
High School with the Class of 1946.
She worked as a Supervisor at USCI, a subsidy of CR
Baird Corp. in Billerica for many years until retiring in 1986. She enjoyed
reading, dancing, friends and family. She also enjoyed vacationing on the Cape.
An avid bowler, she was a member of the Brunswick Bowling league.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist
Church in Chelmsford.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Shane
Soucier of Manchester, NH; her daughter, Sheila C. Matte of Dracut, MA; her
brother and sister in-law, Harold and Louise Daley of Tyngsboro; her sister and
brother in-law, Dorothy and Frederick Greenwood of Chelmsford; two sisters
in-law and two brothers in-law, Michael and Judy Soucier of Merrimack, NH,
Theresa and Ted Chisim of Lowell, MA; five grandchildren; one great grandchild
and many nieces and nephews.
