Mrs. Dorothy H. L’Hussier,
73 a life-long resident of Westford, MA died Wednesday, November 25,
2009 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, MA after a long illness.
She was married to Mr. Ernest L’Hussier with whom she would have
celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on January 21, 2010.
Dorothy was born in Weymouth, MA on July 28, 1936, the daughter of the
late Elmer P and Florence M. (Holmes) Brown. She was a
graduate of Westford Academy with the class of 1954.
She retired in 2001 from the Westford Highway Department after 13 years
of service to the town.
She was a member of the West Chelmsford Methodist Church in Chelmsford,
MA.
Dorothy loved to play bingo, and do arts and crafts. But most
of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and attend
their sporting events.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna
and Donald Bussiere of Tamarac, FL, a son and a daughter-in-law, Dale
and Laura L’Hussier of Hudson, NH, a sister, Barbara Finnegan of
Bridgewater, NH, and five grandchildren, Taryn, Hayley, and Mitchell
L’Hussier all of Hudson, NH, and Aubrey and Melissa Bussiere both of
Tamarac, FL. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces and
nephews as well as several close friends.
