Mrs. D. Lorraine (Forest)
Lambert a life long resident of N. Chelmsford, MA passed away peacefully
Thursday afternoon, November 19, 2009 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in
Lowell after a short illness.
She was married for 54 years to the late Mr. Robert P. Lambert who died
May 11, 2005.
Born in Lowell, MA on February 3, 1927, beloved daughter of the late
Domenico Ciccarelli and Georgianna Forest. She attended
Chelmsford Public Schools and later attended Northern Essex Community
College.
She was a Library Aide and a Teachers Aide for more than 23 years with
the Chelmsford Public Schools including the Highland School, Chelmsford
High School and the Westlands School until retiring in 1992.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of N.
Chelmsford, and was a former member of the church’s sodality group.
She was an 18 year Chelmsford Town Meeting Representative for precinct
3, a 12 year Chelmsford Library Trustee and former President of the
Teacher’s Aide Union. Lorraine enjoyed playing cards with
friends, antiquing and collecting teddy bears. She also enjoyed
summering at York Beach Maine.
Reflecting upon her life, Lorraine wanted to thank all of her friends
for all that they meant to her. The words belong to another author, but
they express her love for all of you. She appreciated all who were a
part of her life. Being in your presence, she learned to live, laugh,
and love. She thanks God for the experience of knowing each and every
one of you and for the opportunity to reflect upon you with gratitude
and honor. The Lambert Family would like to thank the entire nursing
staff of the transitional care unit at Willow Manor for their
compassionate care of Lorraine during her final days; it is and always
will be appreciated.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Gregory P. and
Sigrid Lambert of Merrimack, NH, Vincent R. Lambert, and Jean-Pierre
Lambert both of North Chelmsford, MA, one grandson, Harrison A. Lambert
of Merrimack, NH, a nephew and his wife, Dr. Paul Francis Lambert and
Dr. Anne Griep, a grand-niece, Katherine Lambert all of Madison, WI,
two cousins, Dorothy Mavraides of Lowell, MA, Robert Vachon and his
wife, Patricia both of Dracut, MA.

19, 2009. Visiting hours Monday 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Tuesday at 8 a.m.
from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a
funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. John’s Church, N. Chelmsford. Burial in
Fairview Cemetery, N. Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in her name to
the Chelmsford Public Library Book Fund, 25 Boston Rd. Chelmsford, MA
