Maureen (O’Keefe) Malaney, 53, of N.
Chelmsford, formerly of Dorchester died Sunday
September 20, 2009 at her home after a brief illness.
She was
the wife of Neil Malaney with whom she celebrated their 9th
anniversary on April 15th.
She was the
wife of the late Robert Phinney who died in 1998.
Born in
Boston, MA on October 9, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Joseph
C. and Catherine (Boyd) O’Keefe. She
was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Catholic High School in Boston with the
Class of 1973.
She
worked at New England Business Systems in Groton, MA as an Analyst.
Maureen enjoyed traveling To the Caribbean.
She was a
communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Chelmsford.
Besides
her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Brittney Malaney of N.
Chelmsford, MA; her brother and sister in-law, William and Christine
O’Keefe of Dorchester, MA; two sisters, Margaret O’Keefe and her
partner, Richard Bausemer of Dorchester, Susan and her husband, Robert
McHale of Weymouth, MA; her mother in-law, Judith (Scholfield) Malaney
of Arlington, MA; many nieces and nephews.

with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 25 North Road,
Chelmsford, MA 01824. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
