Chhotabhai Desai, 99, of Lowell died surrounded by his loving family at his home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

He was married to the late Shardaben Patel.

Born in Gujarat, India he was the son of the late Prabhudas and Ambaden Desai.

He was a member of the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple in Lowell.

Chhotabhai came to the United States of America in 1987 and was a proud long time resident of Lowell.

He enjoyed the outdoors.  His greatest  joy was taking care of his family.

He is survived by his sons, Ghanshyam and his wife, Chandrikaben Desai of Chicago, IL, Suman and his wife, Chaandrakanta Desai of Lowell and Rohit and his wife, Aruna Desai of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
