Ann-Marie “Annie”(Ardagna) Burgess, 52, of Lowell died unexpectedly Saturday Jan. 3, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Weymouth, MA, she was a daughter of Shirley Phillips of Mercer, ME.
A longtime resident of Lowell, Ann-Marie previously worked as a cook the Brewery of Lowell and Jimmy’s II Restaurant in Methuen. She loved to read, fish, collect Native American artifacts, spend time with her children and her first grandchild. Besides her mother, Ann-Marie is survived by two daughters, Melanie Dumont and her husband Daniel of Dracut, MA and Nicole Burgess of Lowell, MA; a son, Timothy Burgess Jr. of Lowell, MA; her former husband, Timothy Burgess Sr of Lowell, MA; her granddaughter Kailyn Hubert of Lowell, MA; two brothers, Joseph D’Agostino and his wife Colleen of Westford, MA and Michael Phillips of Westford, MA; two sisters, Joanne Popoloski and her husband Joseph of Lynnfield and Susan McVicker of Tyngsboro,MA; and many nieces, nephews and friends
She was predeceased by her grandmother Madeline Brassard of Tyngsboro.
Visiting hours Wed. 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Thurs. at 11A.M. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD,MA. Burial in Flint Cemetery, Tyngsboro. Cremation at Merrimack Crematory. For those that wish contributions may be made to Development Office

My consolences to Annies family. She was a good friend to my Mother for many years. We had a lot of good times at the beach and in my mothers back yard. Rest in Peace, Annie… Gone too soon.
