Attorney Robert F. Kierce, 86, of Lowell, died Friday July 20, at
Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Francis H. Kierce and Norma (Shea) Kierce. He graduated from Keith Academy with the class of 1949, and Boston University with his Juris Doctor degree in 1954.
He owned Robert F. Kierce Law Firm in Lowell. He was a licensed attorney for over 51 years.
Robert enjoyed classical music, movies and reading.
He is survived by his son, Sean Kierce and his wife, Amy of Canton, MA. Eight grandchildren, Willem “Will” Swan of Maine, Ellie Sanchez-Colon of Boston, and Maclellan “Mac” Swan of Germany, Imogen “Imy” Midgley of Cambridge, Liam Midgley of Boston, and Amelia Midgley of Amherst, Madelyn Kierce and Aidan Kierce of Canton.
He was the father of the late Cordelia Midgley who died December 16, 2014.
Visiting hours Wednesdy 9:30 to 11 A.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a memorial service at 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
