Carole Lorraine Greenman 83, of Chelmsford, MA died early Friday July 20, 2018 at Westford House in Westford, MA in hospice care after a long struggle with Alzheimer ’s disease.
She was married to the late George Greenman who died on June 26, 2015.
Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mable Simm. She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1952.
She was employed as an administrative assistant in the retail merchandising field.
She was an active member of Congregational Church of North Chelmsford, MA.
She volunteered with the Chelmsford Little League and the Chelmsford High School Alumni Association. She enjoyed bowling. Carole loved traveling with her friends, especially to Canada and to Williamsport, PA to watch the Little League World Series.
She is survived by three sons, David Greenman and his wife, Bonnie Greenman of Hollis, NH, Alan Greenman of Gardner, MA, and George and Elizabeth Greenman of Billerica, MA, and five grandsons, Gary, David, Brian, Scott, and Vincent Greenman. She was loved by her nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Donald Simm and Barbara McCormick.
Visiting hours Wed. from 4 to 8pm at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD. Funeral Thurs. at 11am at N. Chelmsford Congregational Church, 15 Princeton Street N. Chelmsford, MA. I was so sorry to hear that Carole passed away two years ago, we worked together at CRinc for years and got together for dinner after Co. Closed in 1999. My sympathies for her kids & grandkids. She’s resting with George again???
