Chheng Kuy Chea, 65, of Methuen and formerly of Lowell, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Born in Battambang Cambodia, he was the son of the late Koy Chea and Sareth Ren.
He came to the United States in July of 1980 and became a citizen prior to working at Mac Steel of Nashua prior to his retirement.
In his free time he enjoyed gardening, watching television and working with his hands.
Mr. Chea was predeceased by his Sister Narin Chea.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sacmawatey Mam of Methuen, a son, Chhat Chea of Quincy, MA., two daughters, Marrodyne Mam of Methuen and Cheathanavy Mam of Methuen, and her fiancé Kevin Khem of Chelmsford, MA., five siblings, Keat Chea and his wife Ransy Pung Chea of Houston, TX., Khlin Serey and his wife Kimnanny Chhoy of Montreal, Quebec., Meansoursdey Chea and his wife Dararith Chea of Sydney, Australia, Sovanna Chea and his wife Oussaphea Chea of Houston, TX., and Narak Chea and her husband Sambath Meach of Cambodia.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Friday night, July 17, 2020, from 4 to 7 PM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST., N. CHELMSFORD MA. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday, July 18 at 8:15AM and conclude at Merrimack Cremation Service, 10 Henry Clay Drive., Merrimack NH.
