Din Dy of Lowell, MA

Din Dy passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Tufts Medical Center with his family by his side after a period of declining health. Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Srey Dy and Sor Me. Din was married to Samentha (Kun) Dy, and they celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in February.

Din immigrated to the United States in 1979 and later became a citizen. He retired from Lytron of Woburn, MA. A faithful Buddhist, he was a member of the Wat Khmer Samaki Temple in North Chelmsford, MA. Din enjoyed working out at his gym, biking, gardening, and cooking. He was also known for being a great handyman and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Samentha; his children, Denny Brink and his wife Nieves Rubio of Madrid, Spain, Dyseada Neang of Lowell, MA, and Dina Dy of Quincy, MA; and his beloved grandchildren, Delaney Phomveha, Taylin Ploeun, Thomson Ploeun, and Hendrix Huynh.
