To the Griffin family: I am very sorry to hear of Hilde’s passing. I worked at Chelmsford Village as a lifeguard for seven summers and like clockwork, most every day, Hilde would stroll through the gates around 12:30 to meet with her friends, play cards, and swim. Hilde was always one of the last swimmers for the season, and whether coming or going from the Village, would always give me a wave. Her grandchildren were a wonderful source of pride for her and I know you will all miss her tremendously. A very lovely lady, who made a very special impression on me. Warmly, Barrett Lawlor
