Kim Mao of Lowell, MA

Kim Orn Mao, 85, of Lowell, MA died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.

She was married to the late Sameoun Suy who died in 1975.

Born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia she was the daughter of the late Mao Moung and Neam Chea.  Kim moved to the United States in January of 1981 and became a citizen on February 16, 2016.

She retired from USCI Bard of Billerica, MA where she worked as an assembler.

She was an active member of Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram of North Chelmsford, MA where she was a very faithful Buddhist.

Kim was a devoted mother and a strong valiant woman who loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Davy Thuch of Lowell, MA, Tony Suy and his wife Sophea Um of Lowell, MA, her fifteen grandchildren, her eighteen great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Yannira Suy who died in 2011.
