Leangkry Meas of Lowell

Leangkry Meas, 62, of Lowell died surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Heritage Nursing Care Center in Lowell.

She was married to Chhoum Chhouy with whom she celebrated their 44 wedding anniversary on 07/03/1972.

Born in Battambang Cambodia, she was the daughter of the late Yem Meas and Thing Ham.

Leangkry was an assembler for the Solo Cup Company in Leominster, MA.

She was an active member of the Trairatanaram Buddhist Temple in N. Chelmsford.

Leangkry moved to Lowell from Cambodia in March of 1984 and became a proud citizen of the USA in 2010.

Besides her husband she is survived by her sons, Bunroeun “Vee” and his wife, Amanda Chhouy of Lowell and Bunrath “Monn” and his wife, Thanh Bui Chhouy of Lowell,; daughters, Nicole and her husband, Matthew Klays of Pepperell, Victoria Chhouk Chhouy of Pepperell, Linda Chhout Chhouy of Lowell and Veira Chhouy and her husband, Vouthy Kang of Lowell; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
