Margaret M. (Mace) Gramer, 71, of Tyngsboro, MA, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 peacefully at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Gramer, to whom she was married for 39 years, and devoted mother of their two sons, Robert L. Gramer, Jr., and his wife Maggi, of Grovetown, Georgia, and William Gramer, and his wife Jazmine, of Tyngsboro. She was a loving Nana to her five grandchildren, Benjamin, Elisa, Wilson, Jack, and Emery. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Frances (Woodward) Mace. She graduated from Mission High School in Roxbury, worked many years at the Lowell YMCA and later taught pre-school at Little Angels of Tyngsboro. She enjoyed being active in her community as a member of the Tyngsboro Garden Club and the Friends of the Tyngsboro Council on Aging. Most of all, she enjoyed being with family and friends, quilting, camping, crocheting, line dancing, and meeting for Book Club. She is survived by her brother James and his wife Lorayn Mace of South Yarmouth, Gerard and his wife Jean Mace of Norwood, and Thomas and his wife Liz of Eugene, MO; her sisters, Patricia Scannell of Norwood, Linda Sweeney of Bridgewater, Debra Butler of Norwood and Maryellen Mace of Norwood, along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Nancy Kelly and Madonna Lyons.
Gramer, Margaret Mary (Mace) Gramer of Tyngsboro, MA died January 23, 2019. Visiting hours Saturday, February 2, 2019, 9 to 10 A.M., followed by funeral services at 10:00 AM, at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Procession and burial to follow at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The world seems a little less bright knowing Peggy is no longer with us. But knowing she is again with Bob is a comforting thought. She was so kind, sincere, and fun. We consider ourselves to lucky to have been her friend.
